We are starting a new sermon series starting March 1 entitled “Taking the Road Less Traveled.” In this series of sermons, which will take us up to April 12, we will examine and look for ways to apply in our lives what it means to live “the Jesus way.” The early followers of Jesus did not refer to themselves as “Christians” – a term that was attributed to them by others and was meant at least in part as a derogatory term – but instead referred to themselves as “followers of the Way.” The question we need to ask is what did that mean to them and what did Jesus intend for us to understand and apply in our lives when he said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Come ready to have your thinking and your way of living challenged and changed as together we step out in faith!
6/14(Sun. 10am) the 45th Anniversary Joint Sunday Service. Dim-sum lunch celebration will be arranged. More details will follow. Please mark your calendar.

6/29-7/6 Casa de Luz STM Trip
We have 17 members committed for the STM trip to Casa de Luz. The team is praying for more people to join and come to experience with us God’s work in the Casa de Luz community. While our travel date is still about three months away, because of our limited choice in flights, these need to be booked well in advance. Join us for a life changing experience. All ages are welcome. As two families in our church are doing, make it a family experience! For those with a desire to join the team a formal application needs to be filled out. These can be made available to you by contacting Pastor Don as soon as possible to confirm your participation in this trip. You can do so in person on Sundays, or by email – – or by texting. When you do, please identify clearly who you are. If you call and there is no answer, please leave a message with a return number for me to call you back.
Pastor Don will be available in his office on Saturday, February 21 from 1-2pm.
Outreach Opportunity
As part of our focus on outreach to our community we partner with CityReach Care Society. CityReach serves over 60 schools in the Greater Vancouver Area through food support, seasonal events, and other essential resources to see students, schools, and communities thrive. They work with each school’s needs and offer creative solutions that make the most impact. The current project includes collecting items for our Hygiene Kits for preteens. Among the top items that are needed are men’s and women’s deodorant, soap, shampoo (medium size bottles), combs, hair ties, and socks. Donations can be dropped off in the container by the entrance to the gym or outside of Pastor Don’s office. Donations will be collected up to and including Sunday, April 26
